Personal Information: I grew up in Shields, attending Swan Valley Schools. After graduating from college, I got married and moved to the state of Washington, due to the fact that my husband was in the Navy and was stationed in Bremerton, WA. When my husband got out of the Navy, in the summer of 1998, we moved back home. We have two children, Alyssa and Ian, who both attend Swan Valley Schools. We also have a yellow lab named Belle.
Teaching Experience: This is my 26th year teaching. I taught Geometry for one year in Poulsbo, Washington. I then moved back to Michigan and began teaching at Swan Valley. This is my 25th year teaching at SVHS. I am currently teaching Algebra II and AP Calculus.
Education: I graduated from Swan Valley in 1992. I then attended Western Michigan University. I graduated from Western in December of 1997 with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Family Life Education. I earned a Masters degree in Natural Science from Saginaw Valley State University in 2002.
